The geographic distribution of the parthenogenetic invasive Virgotyphlops braminus is tabulated for all countries and island territories around the world, including known minimum and maximum elevation ranges. An estimate of nativity vs. introduction is presented for each country in addition to the number of primary level administrative areas and the number of inhabited islands. The date(s) of first observation of the species, the earliest known voucher specimen, and the first date and publication that documents the existence of V. braminus are provided in order to trace its global dispersal. A list of all known localities is presented under each country and primary administrative division.

De verspreiding van de parthenogenetische soort Virgotyphlops braminus wordt opgesomd voor alle landen in de wereld met daarbij de minimale en maximale hoogten waar de vorm is aangetroffen. De regio van waaruit de slang kwam en van waaruit die geïntroduceerd werd, is eveneens aangegeven, voor zover bekend. Daarnaast wordt gemeld wanneer deze voor het eerst aldaar is gevonden en of er museummateriaal van bestaat. Dit geeft een idee hoe de soort wereldwijd verspreid raakte.
